Welcome to the Time Travelling Headteacher Blog

My name is Rebecca Curtis, I have always been fascinated by the idea of time travel!   When I joined Ambition Institute as a Learning Design Fellow I found myself saying "if only I knew then, what I know now" with regards to school leadership.  This got me to thinking about what I would tell myself as a new headteacher in 2013 if I could travel back in time and share some of the expertise I have gained through both being a headteacher for 8 years and through my current role which involves thinking deeply about school leadership and designing professional development for school leaders at every stage of their career.  So, here is my blog...musings on what I would say to myself as an aspiring or new headteacher if I could time travel!
